Hazel Siromoni

Hazel Siromoni is a Counselling Psychologist having 3 decades of experience in the field of education, counselling and social impact.
She is currently serving on the advisory board of Manas Foundation. Apart from her rich experience in areas of social impact, education and training she has for several years served in the leadership position in very significant companies and organizations.
Some of her past accomplishments include having managed and operated on behalf of Government of Canada a large not for profit government initiative called Canadian Education Centre, India (CECN) to promote Canada as an attractive education destination. 
From there she was part of the core team in creating and developing a very successful program called Maple Bear becoming the Managing Director of Maple Bear South Asia until 2019 having over 130 schools in South Asia. She has been instrumental in today Maple Bear having expanded to over 30 countries with 500+ schools having started the very first one in India in 2005. 
She grew to become the CEO of Modi Edutech which was the joint venture partner for Maple Bear South Asia to focus on international education and expansion of education related interests of the VK Modi group until May 2020.
She for one year from July 2020-September 2021 was lead consultant and program manager for Gender programs at Manas Foundation while contributing richly towards enhancing the organizational current system and processes.
She is currently Director Operations for a Canadian Education Company Illume Student Advisory Services Inc. headquartered in Canada managing their global operations in India and subcontinent, Africa, Middle East, Mauritius, Indonesia while supporting the mandate of global expansion of the company.
In February 2014 she received the prestigious Governor General of Canada Gold Medallion for the contribution towards promotion of Canadian Education in India and facilitating Canada India relations.
She has contributed towards publishing of several articles and especially contributed a Chapter focusing on women in workplace and breaking glass ceilings in a book called “Awaken the Magic”.
She serves on several IC committees of various Government Ministries as the NGO representative. 
Her passion is to mentor youth, be a leadership coach and practicing as a career and counselling psychologist.
