People often subconsciously experience stress, but are unable to pin it down. Naveen Kumar, trustee, Manas Foundation, a Delhi-based NGO working towards implementing mental health and gender justice across the country, says, “We recommend watching out for signs and changes in emotions, behaviours, and even physiology. This could be having difficulty concentrating or remembering things, having negative thoughts, or feeling drained, frustrated, lonely, or anxious. Other signs might be any sudden changes in our behaviours such as isolating ourselves, resorting to the use of substances to relax or procrastinating, and neglecting our responsibilities.”
