POSH Trainings
POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) training is a legal requirement for all employees
in an organization to help prevent sexual harassment in the workplace
The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, Redressal) Act, 2013, seeks to protect women from sexual harassment at work place. Manas, under its larger Gender Justice Programme to create safer public spaces for women, provides POSH training to employers and employees of various establishments to make working spaces free of gender-based violence. Manas in the past 5 years has provided such training to a myriad of partners including Hero Honda, Rupeek, Urban Clap, etc.
Manas plays a pivotal role in supporting this legal framework through its comprehensive Gender Justice Programme, which is designed to foster safer public spaces for women. As part of this initiative, Manas offers specialized POSH training tailored for employers and employees across various organizations. The training focuses on educating participants about their responsibilities under the POSH Act, effective strategies for preventing sexual harassment, and the procedures for addressing grievances in a manner that is both respectful and legally compliant.
Over the past five years, Manas has partnered with a diverse range of organizations to implement this training, including prominent companies such as Hero Honda, Rupeek, and Urban Clap, among others. Through these partnerships, Manas has been instrumental in helping these organizations develop and maintain a work culture that prioritizes gender equality and prevents gender-based violence.
